Betsy Shultis Biography

I am one of the Broker/Owners of Benson Agency Real Estate, LLC. I began my real estate career in 1986 at this agency. In 2001, Becky Thomas and I formed a partnership and bought the agency from its founder, Rosalie Benson. Mrs. Benson was a wonderful mentor and because of her training and guidance we began our business on a very strong foundation. By our third year of ownership we were the number one office in sales in the greater Oneonta area and have maintained that ranking to date

I have earned the GRI, ABR and ePro designations. I am a member of our local MLS Committee and the Professional Standards Committee.

Outside of real estate, I sit on the Board for Girl Scouts-Indian Hills Council. Inc. and was a past Town of Otego Councilperson.

I am a lifelong area resident and enjoy sharing the attributes of our area with newcomers.
